A dozen clinical trials in the UK, Netherlands, France, Poland and Indonesia are currently using TENALEA eCRF for all patient data collection, storage and verification. With the increased use, the capacity needed to be expanded. A new server farm has been setup and is running the just-released TENALEA eCRF v3 since 28 october.

 

The new server farm has also been equiped with the latest version of Microsofts' OFS (Office Forms Services) which provides one major additional advantage. With the current electronic forms, there is a substantial number of round trips to the server, especially with complex forms. Each roundtrip imposes a delay, on which the user must wait. The new version of OFS reduces the number of roundtrips dramatically, therewith improving the overall user experience of TENALEA eCRF.

 

In the next few weeks the form templates of all studies will be updated to take benefit of the increased functionality.
